WEB Spain is one of eight national teams to have been crowned world champions and have participated in a total of 16 out of 22 FIFA World Cups qualifying.
Founded in 1913, the Spanish Football Federation is headquartered in Las Rozas, just outside Madrid.
The team has a long and storied history, having won the World Cup in 2010 and the European Championship in 1964, 2008, and 2012.
Upcoming Fixture: Spain vs. France
This is the sixth meeting between Spain and France at a major tournament. France has won three of the first four meetings, including the 2-0 victory in the final of the 1984 European Championship.
The two teams will meet again on March 27, 2024, in the UEFA Euro 2024 quarter-finals. Spain will be looking to avenge their loss to France in the 2021 UEFA Nations League final.
