Antetokounmpo Back to Lead Greece National Team

Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo is set to lead the Greece national basketball team at the 2023 FIBA World Cup. Antetokounmpo, who is widely considered to be one of the best players in the world, will be looking to help Greece improve on their fourth-place finish at the 2019 World Cup.

Greece will be competing in Group B at the World Cup, which is set to take place in the Philippines, Japan, and Indonesia from August 25 to September 10. Greece will face off against Argentina, Montenegro, and New Zealand in the group stage. Antetokounmpo is excited about the opportunity to represent Greece at the World Cup. He says that he is "looking forward to playing with my teammates and trying to win a medal for our country."

Antetokounmpo is not the only NBA star who will be playing for Greece at the World Cup. Other NBA players who are expected to be on the roster include Tyler Dorsey, Kostas Antetokounmpo, and Thanasis Antetokounmpo. With Giannis Antetokounmpo leading the way, Greece has a good chance of making a deep run at the 2023 FIBA World Cup.
