Born in 1974 in Larissa, Greece, Alexis Georgoulis rose to prominence as an actor. In 1993, he began studying at the National Technical University of Athens. However, his passion for the performing arts led him to pursue acting, and he has since become known for his captivating performances on both stage and screen.

International Recognition and Political Activism

Georgoulis's talent gained international recognition with his role in Nia Vardalos's 2007 romantic comedy "My Life in Ruins." He has also played memorable characters in critically acclaimed films such as "Attenberg" and "The Durrells in Corfu." In addition to his acting career, Georgoulis has been actively involved in politics. He entered the European Parliament in 2019 as a member of the center-right New Democracy party.
